Scafol is straightforward to use and allows all job information to be stored in one place with all aspects of the report and inspection easily accessible when needed. My favourite feature is the ability to place photos into different sections with a few simple steps which I have not seen with other software.

Another favourite feature is the ability to log in offline in remote locations and complete the inspection ready to sync when back home.

I have been with the company for close on a year having arrived from South Africa, the App has been an extremely efficient tool to have been introduced to not only in content but the ease in which one can use the product. The app flows and guides you through the process of the survey.

The app has clearly been designed by Surveyors for surveyors and on top of this the back-up service I have been exposed to has been exemplary. I have been in the Uk for a year and have only been exposed to this app but pity those Surveyors who are not using this platform which is not only user friendly but adds to the quality and service in the delivery of our products.

I've used a number of apps to record survey data and the Scafol app is definitely one of the best.

The app is easy to navigate and information is clearly displayed. Data is automatically saved as you progress through the various sections preventing loss.

Photographs can be taken in the app and moved between sections effortlessly.

Following the property inspection, data can be uploaded and edited on a PC/laptop reducing time spent writing reports.

As an early user, I have found Scafol and excellent resource for undertaking Homebuyer Reports and Building Surveys and have now completed over 425 reports using the APP. The simple handheld device fits in a back pocket and is easy to use even in inclement weather.

The APP is organised to flow through a standard survey starting with general observations, construction details etc. and progressing through the outside elements, grounds, inside and services. Photographs are stored within relevant sections for archive purposes and a selection can be chosen for inclusion in any section of the report. All standard text sections are easily modified on site or back in the office using the desktop version by typing or dictation.

Survey data is held securely on the device and constantly saved so there is no risk of losing data or pictures. Nor is there any reliance on a network signal.

The desktop version allows simple checking and refining of the survey once it has been uploaded from the device. The system then produces a well set out report document for final editing.

I have found using the Scafol app a game changer. It is easy to navigate and saves so much time on report writing. It is clear that the app developer is a surveyor who designed the app for surveyors; it is intuitive and covers all areas of residential property surveying. Importantly, it also allows you to amend your report which is useful for unusual properties.

The fundamentals of survey efficiency and good report writing are encompassed in the app and I find that it saves time without compromising on quality and professionalism.

After using Scafol I cannot imagine going back to the old way of doing things!
