Data is automatically saved as you progress through the various sections preventing loss. Photographs can be taken in the app and moved between sections effortlessly. Following the property inspection, data can be uploaded and edited on a PC/laptop reducing time spent writing reports.

As an early user, I have found Scafol and excellent resource for undertaking Homebuyer Reports and Building Surveys and have now completed over 425 reports using the APP. The simple handheld device fits in a back pocket and is easy to use even in inclement weather. The APP is organised to flow through a standard survey starting with general observations, construction details etc. and progressing through the outside elements, grounds, inside and services. Photographs are stored within relevant sections for archive purposes and a selection can be chosen for inclusion in any section of the report. All standard text sections are easily modified on site or back in the office using the desktop version by typing or dictation. Survey data is held securely on the device and constantly saved so there is no risk of losing data or pictures. Nor is there any reliance on a network signal. The desktop version allows simple checking and refining of the survey once it has been uploaded from the device. The system then produces a well set out report document for final editing.
